Use a computer. Get a good firewire camcorder. Get software that monitors the video.

Seems pretty cool — I might have gotten this if I didn’t buy one already. One question though — would someone be able to tap into your home electrical system and view your cameras? That would be kind of scary.

all depends on how much money you want to spend, the most expensive route is to get a dedicated DVR and camera package from Swann or Lorex, anywhere from $600 on up, you could also get IP security cams from Wilife and Swann. the cheapest option is to get a DVR pci card and convert an obsolete PC to a DVR. I use a Swann DVR PC guard card with a Swann bullet cam and a lorex BW all weather cam. the card is installed on an old athlon xp 2500 computer with a wireless card up in my attic, i acces via web. the swann card has good clear instructions on how to do this.

How about showing the product in use and the image quality rather than yammering on incessantly.

One easy solution would be to purchase something like a Linksys internet video camera (linked below) that you can find in many stores or online and runs about $90-$100. Give it power, plug it into your router, and you can access the feed when not at home.

There are other similar products on the market.

If your goal is to use an existing webcam setup, that would be a little more complicated.

Get a CCTV camera with infrared night vision and CCD sensor – do not get a camera with a CMOS sensor, they are no good in the dark.

Get a camera with a high resolution (480) and and digital DVR than can record that resolution

I once heard of drug dealers using these on their houses because they wanted to know if the cops where there or not… this could be a classic case of paranoia… now that its past routine and a habit… it becomes life to you… you must break the habit quickly…

have you ever had any problems since these sec cams were installed? maybe hire someone else to do it for you… if at all possible i would offer my services over secured internet remote access till you can handle it again… 6 to 12 mths of doing something becomes a habit and part of life at 12 mths…

the key is to NOT have access to the cameras at your location. you will need a detailed report as to who is doing what and when. the military uses this for every minute of every day as a log. you can have digitalized documented reports daily.

i have details on my experience with this type of clearance with security for your business'.

contact me by email or messenger

feel free to contact me at your conveinence;)

It will work.

In practical life lot of security cameras attached behind the glasses.

ATM Machines have one more camera built in side and behind the small reflective glass.

All dome cameras covered with glass. You can see all over the places.

hxxp://www.boschsecurity.us/images/DinionXFDN_lg.jpg Try this camera I have installed them in a number of locations in very dark areas. The low light performance is great and the picture quality is sharp. You can use a number of different lens on the camera to get the picture you want.

For a security camera, people like to see image quality rather than words.
