Make a Portable Spy Scope

Let’s face it, spy gadgets are just cool. Maybe it’s the influence of movie characters like James Bond or even Batman, but the latest technological wonders have always had us salivating for more. And with technology being hyper miniaturized and more affordable, it seems that having spy gadgets is pretty commonplace. One need not to look further than cell phones with camera and video recording capabilities. Almost every kid has one of these! Now that’s a scary thought.

Expanding more on the movie theme, the famous quote, “With great power comes great responsibility” was attributed to the Spiderman mythology. We can extrapolate this lesson to spy technology. So before you go out to play with your latest spy gizmo or present your child with one, remember the lesson to use it properly – or, remember what NOT to use it for.

Does it even need to be said not to place a spy camera in bathrooms, bedrooms and dressing rooms? These are the areas that people expect to have privacy so please respect that. Furthermore, it’s just plain wrong not to mention that it’s against the law.

Also, don’t even think about using a spy camera in casinos to gain advantage on the house or other opponents. The truth of the matter is, they probably have more cameras on you. To make it clear, just don’t use a spy camera to cheat in any manner for whatever occasion.

Let’s also not forget that it’s a bad idea to take a spy camera into a movie theater for illegal recording purposes. Not only can you face a fine if you get caught but you can also jail time.

All that being said, when deciding to use a spy camera, just use your good judgment. Spy cameras can be very useful and are vital to the police and private detectives in their undercover work. However, law enforcement can’t be everywhere and that’s why it’s great that the general public has access to spy technology. As in most cases, it’s the amateur videographer that has the camera ready when catching a crime in progress. Thanks to hidden nanny cams and other types of home surveillance, countless abusive nannies and babysitters have been caught for child abuse or the hired help has been caught for stealing.

When used correctly, hidden spy cameras are great for fighting and protecting against crime. All it takes is a little remembering that with great spy technology, comes great responsibility.

I don't know if this is exactly what you would be looking for but this is a little alarm my husband made when our then teenaged daughter kept sneaking out of the house through her bedroom window.

We lived in a single story home and her bedroom was right next to ours, but to the front of the house so we wouldn't hear her when she would sneek out.

My husband took some very light colored fishing line and tied one end to her window screen, up near the top, he then ran the line along a natural crease in the aluminum siding back to our bedroom window and into the bedroom. On the end he attached a couple large jingle bells.

The next time our daughter dropped the screen out of her window it pulled the fishing line and set the bells off. My husband was at the front door as she came around the corner of the house. Other times we wouldn't react fast enough to catch her leaving, but one or the other of us would be sitting in her dark bedroom when she would sneak back in.

If I had a better idea as to what kind of "spy" stuff you wanted I could probably come up with some ideas for you.

What you got to do, is confront them and calmly and nicely kick their asses for them.

The only problem with this setup is “vignetting” or dark areas on the sides. So it is always required to use your zoom function to remove this vignetting.

…This technique is called “eyepiece projection”. I’m using the same when attaching my “point and shoot” digicam (non SLR type) to a refracting telescope for Telephoto and Astrophotography.

Dude – Don't start all this!
I know it's fun and i have an exact no. of 27 different very useful gadgets put of which 23 i made myself. But there's a lot to do.
Don't make harmful things like lazers, they can get you caught. As far as transmition devices are concerned, go ahead with them. According to me, even jammers are fine.
These things are easy to make if you want to toy around with them for fun but never think you could go professional with them unless you get prof. spare parts. Or you'll never get the range.
Opening a walkie talkie and a toy car are childs play, to get the real high tech results, 1) you need to become a geek!

Refuse vaccines, they have toxic adjuvants such as aluminum phosphate, Thimerosol(murcury), aspartame/formaldehyde, MSG and squalene in them. The World Homicide Organization has planned to mandate vaccination for many countries’ populations because of the bioweaponized “swine flu” Baxter Internation manufactured and released in Mexico.

One spy gadget you could make is an infrared light for nightvision, but you'd need lots of old remotes for their infrared LEDs, and you'd need like 3 9V batterys. Then you would need a camera to capture the infared – because the human eye can't see infrared – and that's the trick.

First off Paul, what is you age? Is this a fantasy with you – in other words, do you enjoy reading stories and seeing movies about CIA operatives and spys? I have reasons for asking these questions, they are really of little value to you.

There are a number, a very large number of websites available concerning "certain" types of "spy gadgets" as you put in your enquiry.

Send me an email outlining more precisely what "type of spy gadgets" you are looking for and I may be able to direct you to the proper website.

I am a retired electronics technician that designed, built, troubleshot, prefected, and monitored certain types of equipment related, in some ways to your inquiry. I may have some knowledge to pass on.
